Fruits and vegetables are not recommended to transport in preassembled containers. This is due to the fact that different fruits have different temperature requirements, therefore the transportation of preassembled cargoes maintain the integrity and freshness of fruits and vegetables is possible onlyover short distances in case of uncritical temperature outside.

Cargo transportation of alcoholic beverages are carried out only when both the shipper and recipient have the relevant license.
Alcoholic beverages are transported in wooden boxes with special cells or cardboard boxes.
The wines may be transported in glass containers and barrels. If the product is transported in bottles, they should be packed in boxes. Not accepted for transportation barrels with a signs of leaking.
Temperature conditions optimal for transportation of wine are set by the sender of the cargo. This information is recorded in a stock delivery note.

Not accepted for transportation:
• Meat and meat products without proper veterinary documents
• Carcases, covered with ice and snow
• Frozen meat is placed in stacks.
• Refrigerated cooled and packaged products are placed at a distance of not less than 30-35 cm from the ceiling without any gap between the rear wall of the body and the last row of stored product. This will ensure good air circulation.
• Animal carcasses. Cattle – cut into longitudinal half-carcasses or quarters, pigs – whole carcass without the head or longitudinal half-carcasses, lamb meat and small animals – whole carcass without the head.
• Chilled beef, mutton, pork, beef, horse meat are loaded only in rack pallets or hung on hooks.
• Frozen and chilled poultry should be packed in boxes. Whole eviscerated or semi-eviscerated poultry or chilled poultry is transported in boxes with openings.
Meats and meat by-products
Sausages and smoked meat products are transported in boxes with openings. Meat delicacies with a protective layer – in the dense boxes. Mutton and corned beef – in barrels (salting period – not less than 10 days).
Meat by-products are transported in a frozen state, packed in boxes, cardboard boxes or fabric bags.

Most of confections have a small shelf life, therefore the requirements for the terms of their delivery and transport conditions are very strict: clearly must be maintained the manufacturer’s recommended temperature and humidity in refrigerated trailer. Stowage and type of packaging depends on the type of transported goods.
Cakes are transported in special boxes made of plastic or cardboard, stacked on top of each other and palleted.
Small sized pastry are transported in pallets with closed lid.
Confectionery should be transported on pallets, the dimensions of which should be calculated so as to avoid jamming or lowering of the load.

Canned goods are transported in glass or tin containers in a cardboard or wooden boxes. Jars in boxes should be stacked so as to avoid any moving.

Medications should always only be transported in refrigerators. This is the only way to ensure the maintenance of the required temperature. Violation of temperature conditions can lead to damage of drugs, lose of their active properties, thus they may cause harm to human health.
Optimal storage and transportation temperature of medicines is selected based on the properties of ingredients in their composition.

The recommended temperature for cosmetics transportation – +10. Temperatures below zero is unacceptable for cosmetics.
Transportation of cosmetics during the warm season can be carried out virtually by all types of closed vehicles. During the cold season should only be used refrigerators to achieve and maintain the temperature above zero.
Flowers and planting stock

• Pot plants are transported in mesh trays stacked on multilevel carts. Each plant must be partly packed in a plastic cone.
• Bulbous plants, interspersed with wood chips, packed in cardboard boxes. Tubers – in special plastic bags with perforation.
• Cut plants must be transported as quickly as possible. Therefore, all necessary transport documents are issued in advance, and traffic routes shall be verified as precisely as possible.
Flowers and floral products are often transported in refrigerators in consolidated load. However, some floral companies prefer to use special refrigerated trailers for flowers. Floral refrigerator is a thin-walled van with capacity up to 98 m3.

Transportation of milk and dairy products for a long-distance is carried out according to the requirements and standards of transportation of perishable products.
Dairy products should be transported on pallets. Dimensions of pallets (height and width) must be designed so as to avoid jamming or lowering of the load.
